SHM Farms private portal
Private-use terms
Prepared 21 August 2026 · not yet approved for launch
These terms govern authorized use of the SHM Farms Land & Wildlife Counsel portal. By accepting them, a member agrees to use only the assigned account and only for lawful land, habitat, agronomy, and hunting-planning purposes.
Permission and boundaries
Portal access is not permission to enter land, hunt, plant, spray, burn, excavate, cut timber, install a stand, discharge a firearm, or make any change. Current landowner permission, legal boundaries, seasons, licenses, labels, easements, and safety rules control. A recommendation must be rechecked if ownership, access, pressure, weather, crop, vegetation, or law changes.
Account conduct
Members must keep credentials private, change temporary passwords, avoid restricted-data requests, and submit only information they are authorized to share. Automated scraping, security testing without written permission, account sharing, attempts to bypass policy filters, and use for harassment or unlawful activity are prohibited.
Advisory nature
Answers are planning support based on available records and a local language model. They may be incomplete or wrong. Field verification and qualified professional review remain the user's responsibility. No harvest, yield, wildlife response, financial result, legality, or safety outcome is promised.
Field submissions
The submitting member retains responsibility for accuracy, location and boundary accuracy, lawful camera or media collection, and authority to provide the record. The member grants the owner permission to compress, store, back up, review, correct, reject, supersede, and—after approval—use its structured facts to answer authorized members' questions. Approval means suitable for the portal ledger, not independently proven truth. The owner may remove files that are irrelevant, unsafe, unlawful, or outside the member's authority.
Suspension and changes
The owner may suspend access, change quotas, correct records, or close the portal to protect land, people, data, or system integrity. Material terms changes require a new recorded acceptance. Continued availability is not guaranteed.
Liability and governing terms
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the portal and its information are provided “as is.” The detailed advisory disclaimer is incorporated into these terms. Final limitation-of-liability, dispute, contact, entity, and governing-law language must be completed by Kentucky counsel before launch.
