SHM Farms private portal
Land, agronomy, hunting, and safety disclaimer
Prepared 21 August 2026 · not yet approved for launch
This portal is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for a licensed agronomist, pesticide applicator, forester, engineer, surveyor, attorney, tax adviser, wildlife biologist, medical professional, firearms instructor, or emergency service.
Agronomy and chemical use
Do not buy or apply fertilizer, lime, seed treatment, herbicide, insecticide, or another regulated product from a portal answer alone. Confirm current soil tests, acreage, formulation, calibration, weather, buffers, crop/site, protective equipment, and the complete current label. The pesticide label is legally controlling; if an answer conflicts with it, do not use the answer.
Land work and habitat changes
Burning, dozer work, forestry treatment, excavation, water work, road work, food plots, structures, and permanent stands can affect safety, erosion, water, utilities, habitat, taxes, permits, boundaries, and neighbors. Obtain landowner approval and appropriate professional or agency review before high-impact or hard-to-reverse work.
Hunting and wildlife
Wind, thermal, bedding, movement, and stand analyses are probabilistic. Maps and waypoints can be approximate. Confirm boundaries, permission, target and background, equipment condition, stand and harness safety, season and harvest rules, and present field conditions. Never use an answer to justify an unsafe shot, trespass, baiting violation, or wildlife-law violation.
No guarantee
Weather, pressure, disease, seed quality, soils, wildlife behavior, neighbor activity, and incomplete records can defeat a sound plan. The user accepts responsibility for whether and how to act and should stop when information, permission, conditions, or safety are uncertain.
